  • Public Health Emergency Services (PHES)

When there is an emergency, we are here to help.

We help the community when it needs help the most. RMPDS’s Public Health Emergency Service (PHES) hotlines provide consistent, accurate and up-to-date information to the public and providers. In addition, these hotlines serve as a consistent arena for gathering and aggregating data on potential or evolving public health issues. When there’s an emergency, we’re there to help with public health information, call management, and answers.

The first line in public health emergency management.

Our hotlines have managed many seasons and outbreaks of West Nile Virus, influenza/pneumonia, H1N1, salmonella, Hepatitis A & C, and even Vog (volcanic fog/air quality). State agencies trust us for our:

  • Emergency line activation for a specific event in as little as 4 hours
  • High call volume capability
  • A searchable library of over 2,500 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
  • Media relations
  • Data gathering, including dead animal reports, self-reported cases of influenza/pneumonia and real-time analysis of poison center data that are exportable to GIS mapping systems

Don’t wait for a public health emergency to decide you need a plan. We should be part of your plan.
